Celebration of Canada

                                                                 Celebration of Canada

Like Canada Articulation`s membership is diverse. The members have come from various countries and provinces of Canada and work together to create work.

To celebrate Canada's 150th birthday Articulation created a body of work consisting of panels for each province and territory.  Each member made two panels for the province. The panels are double-sided and measure 25" by 80". They are best exhibited hanging from the ceiling. The panels exhibit different styles and techniques and demonstrate the many facets of textile work.

This body of work has been shown in Alberta at the Fish Creek Library. Unfortunately because of  covid -19 restrictions the work was viewed by only a few and the exhibition was closed during part of its run. It would be wonderful if they could find another outing.

Here is a preview of these panels. Only a few panels are shown here.
